Näd Mika & Pierre Pascual first met virtually in march 2008 when Pierre proposed to Näd to feature on a compilation he was producing for his label ( The compilation “Chochotte” for Discolala records ).
Then a music organisation in Paris decided to book both of them for their festival in June and Näd & Pierre thought it would be a cool idea to perform a duet, live, on one of Näd Mika’s hit ” Girlfriend ” originally performed by Näd and Sexy Sushi.
They sympathised and decided to write a song together.
Pierre had just finished writing a demo called ” We are wolves, we are boys ” for a show in London, and proposed it to Näd. She loved the song and they decided to finish it together and finally name it simply ” we are boys “
But they wanted more and decided to work in parallel on a pop 80’s version including more french vocals ( L’histoire d’une fille , l histoire d’un garçon ) and on a third track called Grace ( Pierre wrote it for Näd as Näd is a huge fan of Grace Jones and used in it some stolen vocals recorded with an ipod during a conversation late in the night at Pierre’s home in Paris )
The EP ” Boys and girls ” will be produced by Madame Visage in April 2010.
